Just for You

 


Hello Crafty Friends!

Welcome back to my Studio and to my NEW Blog home! 

It was time for a change and a new look!

So are you ready for Winter? Maybe not, but these Snowmen are little hard to resist! Don't you think?


Today I am working with Ink n' Splatter's New "Snow Wonderful Snowmen" Stamp Set

I only chose one of the frosty snowmen for this card. I just love him...he's bearing gifts



Even though I am not a fan of FREEZING weather, I LOVE LOVE LOVE to illustrate and design for the Winter Holidays! So I couldn't resist to play around with a splash of vibrant colors for this winter card!
 
 
I colored my Snowman with Copic Markers as I usually do, but for my colorful background, I splashed a few beautiful watercolor color bursts together and then splattered it with white ink for a snowfall effect



 
I die cut several scallop edges to frame my background and attached it to a piece of Twinkle Berry Love Pattern Paper with foam adhesive to give my card a little dimension.

"Just for You"

I stamped my sentiment from the same stamp set and die cut it with a super cute. stitched banner die. I also finished off my card with a few snowflake and evergreen die cut sprigs.

Happy Meow-lloween

 

Hello Crafty Friends!

Welcome back to my Studio! 

I hope you followed me here from my old blog! It was time for a new look,  a little change, a new Blog home and just because... a new Studio name too! 

So, before I jump into the Winter/ Holiday Season, I wanted to share one more Halloween card with you!


Sweet & Spooky…

Today, I am using Ink n' Splatter's Sweet & Spooky Stamp Set once again because there are so many cute images in this set to play with!
 

Kitty Pumpkin…

Here’s my “Kitty Pumpkin” from Ink n’ Splatter’s “Sweet & Spooky” Stamp Set.

(Inspiration Motivation) I grew up fearing cats because I was told they were scary and untrustworthy. But, as an adult, I grew to LOVE them and have had few of my own over the years.

Today, I get the pleasure of being "mommy" to my son's adorable, yet feisty, gorgeous calico. She's a crazy cat and I LOVE her so much! 

I try to incorporate them in many of my illustrations and Halloween is a fitting theme to add a few!


Halloween Pattern Paper…

I also cut out a few different Halloween inspired pieces of Spooky Nights Pattern Paper and Wonky Halloween Pattern Paper for this Halloween card.



Happy Meow-lloween…

I the stamped “Happy Meow-lloween” from the Sweet & Spooky Stamp Set and cut it out with a ragged edge cutter. 

I love to use cute little puns with cute images...it brings many smiles!



Sparkle…

I finished off my card with a few little coordinating sequins to add some Sparkle and interest!

Always Take Time To Smell The Flowers



Hello crafty friends!

Welcome back to my Studio!

Today, I’m back with another colorful card I created using Ink n’ Splatter’s “Beary Wishes” Stamp & Die Set and our new “Honeycomb” Stencil



I don’t normally create CAS cards. I actually love the ones that are done well and with a purpose. I just don’t think about creating them because I seem to have an uncontrollable urge to keep building on my cards..ok I said it!


Well, slap my hand and make me stop here! Even as I look at my card I see many other opportunities to ass and build! Which is why, I used this Honeycomb stencil to create a few more cards (coming soon) where I gave into my addiction!

Technique…

I ink blended my background using the Honeycomb stencil and distress oxide inks (full supply list below) and I colored my Bear image with comic markers.



Always Take Time to Smell the Flowers…

I stamped my sentiment, “Always Take Time to Smell the Flowers” from the Beary Wishes Stamp Set.



There are several sentiments in the Beary Wishes Stamp Set but I chose this one because it seems fitting at the moment.

It reminds me to live in the moment because every moment is precious!

A Boo-tiful Night



Hello crafty friends!

Welcome back to my Studio! I’m so happy you are here with me today!

It’s New Release Week over at Ink n’ Splatter and I’m excited for you see my team’s card creation inspiration using our NEW “Sweet & Spooky” Stamp Set! So be sure to join our INS Stamps Facebook Community and/or check out our INS Blog to see all of their fabulous creations.

Today, I decided to jump in and share a simple mini slimline Halloween card I created using this super cute new Halloween stamp, coordinating die set, and our Wonky Halloween Paper

I Ink blended Ink n’ Splatter‘s Cloudy Day Stencil for the inside background as well as the front for my sentiment, Have a “Boo-tiful Night” on a stitched cut out.

I stamped my images, and sentiment with embossing ink and the sprinkled them with heat embossing powder to give them a clean crisp look. Once my images were set, I colored them with Copic Markers (full supply list below)

I really enjoyed coloring these little Halloween cuties..so many possibilities! You can even pair them up with Ink n’ Splatters’ other Halloween Stamp Sets.

I will be sharing a few more Halloween cards soon, but…in the meantime….

Autumn Calling



Hello crafty friends!

Welcome back to my Studio!

Happy Labor Day! Well Summer may be coming to a close but Fabulous Fall is on the way!

Can you hear Autumn calling? Cooler temps, crackling bonfires, falling leaves, and pumpkin EVERYTHING!

So today, in keeping with my LOVE for Fall, and hopefully yours too, I’m back with a super fun shadow box card.

I created a shadow box card using Ink n’ Splatter’s NEW “Fall Woodsy Critters” & “Happy Fall Foxes” Stamp Sets and “It’s Fall Y’All” Paper

I also Ink blended Ink n’ Splatter‘s New Birch Tree Stencil for the inside background as well as the front cut out.

I also stamped my images, and sentiments, then heat embossed them to give them a clean crisp look, then colored them with Copic Markers

A couple of super cute die cuts, a piece of beautiful fall pattern paper (full supply list below) and we have the makings of a fabulously fun Autumn shadow box card.

Thinking of EWE

I love shaker cards…can you tell? I created this one for our August Color Challenge
