Personally…
I am a Christian, a wife, a mother to an incredibly too-smart-for-his-own-good young man in the medical field, and “mommy” to two fabulous little senior furries that we rescued to give them a much better life.
Did I mention the beach is my happy place?!
Professionally…
I’m a predominantly self-taught illustrator, designer, card maker, and self-proclaimed, not recovering – continuously creating, paper addict!
I’m here to share some joy through my “Artsy Life”, and hopefully, inspire you, and teach you, to create your own fabulous things!
My Artsy Life
Art is my passion!
I love looking at it! I love creating it! I love being inspired by it! I love sharing it, and I can’t stop thinking about it!
As long as I can remember, I always had a pencil in hand. Not a day goes by in my “Artsy Life” without some form of creativity.
Some of my most exciting, and personally rewarding, artsy days included time spent painting floor-to-ceiling murals for churches, preschools, private schools, and homeowners. I can’t tell you the joy it brought to see ear-to-ear smiles on the faces of small children, knowing I may have had a part in bringing a little sunshine to their day.
Believe it or not, I studied Interior Design, before marriage, children, and life in general, took center place.
I’ve since settled back into my love of illustrating for the paper craft industry.
I actually started designing stamps and scrapbooking kits through my love of paper crafting over 20 years ago!
Now, I am the owner, creator, and designer/illustrator for Digi Doodle Studios, LLC, Ink n’ Splatter.
Ink n’ Splatter is my line of super cute, whimsical, and always joyful, Clear Stamps, Dies, Stencils and Designer Paper!
Grateful & Blessed
I absolutely love what I do for a living! I feel truly blessed to be able to wake up each day knowing that I have an opportunity to create something, and/or help someone else create something.
Treasures Found in the Little Things
A handmade creation to give away, or cherish, can truly make a difference in one’s day. It can also, at the very least, allow them to forget their troubles for a moment, and help celebrate the joys of daily life, through the art of making, or receiving, something special and intentional.

By the Grace of God, we have all been given special gifts to develop and share for the good of His kingdom. They may all look different in each person, but they are all gifts with a purpose.
I am truly grateful for the gifts God has placed in my hands. I love to encourage others to use their gifts. Many have already discovered their gifts. Some may need help to discover their gifts, while others may need help to learn how to use their gifts.
Whatever your gift may be, recognize it, nurture it, and realize you have already been equipped to make a difference.
