Welcome back to my Studio!
Today I am sharing a sweet friendship card!

Mimsy & Everly…
So, for my card today, I am using the adorable duo, “Mimsy & Everly”, one of my digi stamps from my Digi Doodle Studios and the flower elements from “Bumble Garden” Pairables Digi Stamp Set.

Coloring…
I sized, printed and cut my images out with my die cutting machine. Then I colored them with Copic Markers (full supply list below)

Background…
For my background, I decided to color blend and stencil using oxide inks.
Once I blended my colors and finished the stenciling, I sprayed my background with water droplets and set it aside to dry.

In the Meantime…
While I was waiting for my background to dry, I die cut a couple of super cute, stitched scallop frames.
If Friends were Flowers…
I printed my sentiment, “If Friends were Flowers, I would Pick You”, from Digi Doodle Studios “Budding Friends”.

Then I cut it out using a stitched banner die.
Card Base…
I thought about bringing more color out around the stitched frames, but I didn’t want to detract from my image or blended background, so I simply cut and folded a piece of white cardstock and attached it behind my frames.

Putting it All Together…
So now that my blended background was dry, I splattered it with drops of white ink and attached the stitched frames over it.
Then I attached my images and sentiment strip with double-sided adhesive.
I added a few glitter dots and my friendship card was finished.

I hope I have inspired you today to try something new, or simply create something Fabulously Heart-Warming to bring you, or someone else, a little bit of joy for the moment.

Happy Crafting…
