A Koal-ity Hug



Hello Friends!

Welcome back to my Studio!

Today I am sharing a “Koala-ity Hug” with you all!

Koala-fied…

I created this card using Digi Doodle Studios “Koala-fied” Pairables Digi Stamp set. This set is so fun! It features 5 adorable Koala Bear images and several Koala related sentiments so you can create with this set for many different occasions.

So Let’s Get Started…

To begin, I sized, printed, and cut my image using my die cutting machine.

Then I colored this little cutie using Copic Sketch Markers. 

Slimlines & Stitches…

I die cut a couple of stitched mini slimlines, from white cardstock, for part of my base.

Background…

I wanted to dress up my background a little, so I decided to use Digi Doodle Studios “Wild Thing” Paper Pack

Sending You a Koala-fied Hug…

I printed my sentiment “Sending You a Koala-fied Hug” from the Koala-fied Pairables Digi Stamp Set and cut it out using a stitched banner die.

Putting it All Together…

I cut a piece of Kraft Cardstock for the main base of my card and ink blended the edges. Then I attached my pattern paper to the first stitched slimline layer and placed it on the Kraft base with double-sided foam to give it some dimension.

I die cut a couple of stitched circles from the pattern paper and attached it to the top slimline panel, leaving an open pocket on the bottom one so I could slip my Koala slightly inside.

I attached the Koala using double sided adhesive and then I slipped my sentiment behind the leaves on a slant.

I added a few enamel dots and my card was finished!
