Let's Party S'more

Hello Friends & Happy New Year!

Welcome back to my Studio!

I’m sure we can all agree that it has definitely been a crazy 2020! I’m sure many of us are looking forward to a wonderful new year, filled with hope and restoration.

Sounds great, right? So many possibilities, with so much promise!

But honestly, in the midst of all the craziness this year, there has been much to be thankful for, much to celebrate, and, much to cherish!

So “Let’s Party S’more”…

These same sentiments are my inspiration. Today I’m happy to share my card “Let’s Party Smore” using my “Toasted Marshmallows Pairables” Digi Stamp Set from Digi Doodle Studios.

Let’s get Started…

There are a few elements, and sentiments, with this smaller digi stamp set. I decided to work with just the main bear.

I began by sizing, printing, and cutting, my image using my die cutting machine.

Coloring my Sweet Bear…

Then, I colored my little bear using Copic Sketch Markers (full supply list below)

Background…

I blended my background panel using distress oxides. Then, I splattered the blended panel, with water and ink spray, to give it a snowy appearance.

Creating a Winter Scene…

I also die cut snow covered trees to use as a frame and placed it over my blended panel using double sided adhesive to give it some dimension.

I also die cut a scalloped stitched frame using a piece of pink snowy pattern paper and attached it with double-sided adhesive.

Sentimental Sentiment…

I printed out one of the super cute sentiments, from the “Toasted Marshmallows Pairables” Digi Stamp Set, on white card stock and die cut it with a stitched fishtail banner.

Card Base…

For my card base, I used white cardstock and printed out a winter sweater inspired pattern from the new “Gentle Winter” Digi Paper Pack.

I added a couple snowflake dies cuts and enamel dots and m card was finished.

I hope I have inspired you today to try something new, or simply create something Fabulously Heart-Warming to bring you, or someone else, a little bit of joy for the moment.
