Happy Friday Friends!
Today I’m excited to bring you a few NEW super cute “Winter Critters” who are available at Digi Doodle Studios!
Over the next couple of months, you will notice Digi Doodles DT inspiration using these little cuties.
Sammi Skater Bear…
I’m stopping by to share just one of my cards using “Sammi Skater Bear”.
I couldn’t resist him and his feeble attempt to skate across the ice. But in spite of it all, this cute little critter is wishing you a “Snow-pendous Day”!
I first printed “Sammi Skater Bear” out on white card stock and colored him with Copic Markers and watercolors.
Blend & Spatter…
I blended Distress Oxide Inks (supply list below) on another piece of white card stock and spattered it with water to create some texture for my background.
I also die cut a few trees, a couple of snow drifts, and a few snowflakes to create a little snow scene for “Sammi”.
Then I die cut a few stitched frames and put them together to add dimension to my project.
Winter Plaids…
I also used my Winter Plaids N’ Patterns Digi Paper Pack again for this card because I love the colors and each design gives a different look to my projects. For this card, I printed out the 8×8 designs, but they are available in 6×6 too if you like to work smaller!
Have a Snow-pendous Day…
Once my card was assembled, I added a super fun Sentiment from my new “Snow Days” Sentiment Collection and placed on the upper left corner of my card with a larger snowflake, two different colored bakers twine and an icey translucent gem.
Embellishments…
I finished my card off with a few snowflakes, a little falling snow and few more translucent dots and sequins.And Sammi Skater Bear’s Have a Snow-pendous Day card is finished.
