Fall is beautiful in many ways. The vibrant Autumn colors jump out to capture our attention. The cool crisp air feels clean and refreshing as we take a deep breath.

This week is Thanksgiving week here in the USA. The stores are filled with people preparing for their fabulous Thanksgiving Day feasts. Others are making travel plans to meet and gather with their loved ones and friends.

Although we don’t need a special day to remind us, Thanksgiving is a time to stop for a moment, shut out the rest of the world, enjoy our surroundings and count our blessings.

Thankful for every breath we are given. Thankful for our family and friends. For those who truly know us and walk beside us through good times and bad.

Thankful for our careers, our homes, and our Faith.

Today, I’m stopping by to share this sweet Autumn/Thanksgiving inspired handmade card.

It’s no secret that I love the Autumn season, so I was super excited to work with my “Hello Fall” Digi Stamp, and my new “Fall Plaids” and “Buffalo Flannels” Digi Paper Packs. For this project, I used the 8×8 digi papers, but I have them in 6×6  as well if you prefer to work with a smaller pattern.

First, I printed out my digi stamp on white card stock and colored her with Copic Markers, Spectrum Noir Alcohol Makers, and added any remaining details with watercolors. (links and supply list below)

Once my image was colored, I placed it on a piece of white textured card stock and created a watercolor background to bring in some of the colors from my image.

I chose my patterns, and my sentiment from my “Autumn Days” Sentiment Collection.

I die cut some super cute pine cones and greenery designs from my plaid paper, Kraft paper, and orange card stock.

I finished off my card with a few other embellishments; brown autumn button, enamel dots, seqiuns, and hemp cord.

And my “Count Your Blessings” card was complete.
