St. Patrick’s Day is almost here!

If you love to go green on this charmingly fun holiday you must be excited already and probably planning your day/night.

St. Patrick’s Day is also my younger sister’s birthday. It can be a challenge to find just the right card for a birthday that lands on a holiday. But…since I LOVE to create cards, it’s no longer a problem.

This year I decided to work with “Kenzie & Kona” because, like me, my sister is a dog lover! This is a super sweet image that can be adapted to almost any occasion or season!

Although we are not Irish, my sister was the only one in the family with freckles…and born on St. Patrick’s Day? Hmm…maybe she was kissed by a leprechaun.

Every year, for her birthday, I make sure whatever card I create, always has a little “Touch of the Irish”. Whether I use a green color palette, add clovers, rainbows or all of the above, each card is always designed with her birthday in mind.

For my Kenzie & Kona card I used my new “Kiss the Blarney Stone” Pattern Paper .

They printed up perfectly and added a little touch of the Irish…and a sense of Spring! Come on SPRING!
