It seems we look forward to the Christmas Season all year…well if you are anything like me you do, and then suddenly it’s here! I was really good this year! To my surprise, I actually finished all my Christmas shopping early, which left me a little more time to put some thought into the packaging…which, for me, can be much more fun than shopping!

Ever since my son suddenly grew up before my eyes, I have been giving him a gift card, to one of his favorite places, as one of his Christmas presents, and I ALWAYS sign the tag “from Santa”. He probably hates that, but like I always remind him…he will ALWAYS be my baby!
One Christmas Eve…
When my son was about 5 yrs old, we were coming home from visiting family on Christmas Eve night. He was super excited about Christmas, and to say he was talking a mile a minute, non-stop, in the back seat, would be an understatement.
Suddenly, I noticed the red lights of an airplane high in the night sky and I quickly told him that he needed to settle down because Santa was coming as I pointed to the red lights.
“QUICK MOMMY! I have to get home and go to bed before Santa gets to my house!” He shouted!
My son was born a “little old man” with an extreme thought process, so to hear him sound like a 5 yr old for a moment was just too cute!

As we pulled up to our house, the neighbors were outside and tried to wish us a Merry Christmas but my son wasn’t having it!
“No no, we can’t talk, I have to get to bed…SANTA is COMING RIGHT NOW!!” He shouted, as he ran into the house and jumped into his bed, clothes and all!
Every once in awhile, I like to remind him of this adorable memory, and it’s probably one of the reasons I still leave a gift under the tree, for him, from Santa!
Gifts, Gift Cards & Santa’s Bag….
So this year, when I tried to think of a way to present his Gift card from Santa, I thought it would be so cute to use the “Santa’s Gifts” digi stamp.

I found a super cute Gift Card template of Santa’s Gift Bag in the Silhouette Design Store.
So today, on Christmas Day, I bring you this adorable Gift Card project inspired by that one Christmas Eve.
