This will be our first Christmas with our little Kali. It has been quite interesting so far…our Christmas tree is sadly decorated…not for lack of ornaments, mind you, but because Kali prefers them on the floor. I guess she wants them out of her way so she can continue to climb the center of the Christmas Tree. That’s our Kali! I can’t imagine what Christmas day will be like…did I mention she has a paper obsession? .Yep! It should be interesting!
It seems like several of my friends are going to either be celebrating with a new little one this Christmas, or they will be welcoming one by next Christmas. I’m very excited for them!
So I thought it would be fun to create a “Baby’s First Christmas” card using one of my Digis’s from my “Bundles of Joy” Collection.

Meet “Baby Cassie” ! I figured she would be a great choice for a Baby’s First Christmas card because of her pretty little dress. But really, any one of the images in the “Bundles of Joy” can work perfectly for Christmas!

I started out wanting to make a Gatefold Easel Card. Which I actually did, but the more I worked on it, the more I wanted to turn it into a Christmas Scene.

It became a labor of love. And believe me when I say, it was quite a challenge trying to keep little Kali from tearing my project apart at any given moment!
I’m pretty sure I have just the perfect friend to give this Christmas Card Scene to this year. She loves to display handmade gifts at Christmas time and any other day of the year, for that matter.
