Happy New Year 2020

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It’s hard to believe that 2019 is already over. But what is harder to believe that we have already stepped into a New Decade! I hope you are starting the year off in an amazing way!

Today I wanted to share with you a New Years Eve card I created using our sweet “Julieta” from our Masquerade Ball Collection.

I started off by printing my image on white card stock and cut it out using my die cutter. I colored Julieta with alcohol markers and watercolors.

Believe it or not, my intention was to create a CAS card but I always seem to get carried away and think I need to add just one more thing to my projects…and then one turns into two and then three and so on.

I decided to add gold foil to my black background to create a fun and festive New Years feel. I placed a couple of extra balloons that I colored with distressed oxide inks, and few sequins, because what is New Years without sequins?!

I attached Julieta to a piece of purple card stock, added my sentiment, and my card was finished!
