My husband and son just happen to be working on this Father’s Day. As much as I was hoping we could all be together today, my time alone actually gave me a chance to prepare a special dinner for them…which I love to do!
I also had a few moments to reflect on the many father’s days we spent together.
In years past, we would almost always find ourselves by the water, fishing or gazing at the most gorgeous sunsets, or both.
These days, we are rarely by the water, but it is surely still very close to our hearts.
I decided to work with my sweet little “Milo” for this card I created for my husband on this Father’s Day.
He’s just precious, and even resembles my son at certain stages of his life. People always ask me which one of my Digi Doodles are my favorites…I can’t really choose just one, but there are many that definitely capture my heart. “Milo” is most certainly one of them! Do you blame me?
The background paper I used for this card is from my “Summer Breeze” Digi Paper Pack Collection.
I thought the “Aqua Waves” was the perfect choice for this card and added a piece of burlap to give the card a beachy feel.
